The objects arranged at the site suggest contemporary magical devices, summoning the power of the sun in mediated forms. Historically mirrors, black glass and photographs have been used to frame the invisible world. Apparatuses like the telescope and camera operate as light-reflective devices to throw distant forms upon a receiving surface. This history of magic, superstition, psychoanalysis and logic are eternally bound to the physics of light projection. This project seeks to elicit all realms of this history.
